JEZEBEL

"Jezebel", the debut single from Domino’s new signing, Anna Calvi, will be available on limited edition 7” and via digital download on October 19th. It is backed with "Moulinette".

Originally written by Wayne Shanklin and performed by Frankie Laine in the early 50’s, "Jezebel" was famously covered in French by the chanteuse, Edith Piaf. Anna Calvi’s reworking of the classic is full of passion, emotion and startling beauty. Anna succeeds in thoroughly making "Jezebel" her own.

"Moulinette", written by Anna with her drummer, Daniel Maiden-Wood, showcases her powerful voice, her mastery of the electric guitar as well as her unique blend of dark, atmospheric and romantic pop, to full effect.

Anna Calvi is currently putting the finishing touches to her debut album, details of which will be announced soon.
