Julia Holter is set to release a new double A-side single “Don’t Make Me Over / Hello Stranger” on August 19th in North America (July 28th 2014 rest of the world).

The single is comprised of two highly inventive cover versions including the never before heard “Don’t Make Me Over” and will be available digitally and on 7”. 'Don’t Make Me Over' sees Holter and her Los Angeles ensemble take on Burt Bacharach and Hal David’s 1962 song for Dionne Warwick whilst 'Hello Stranger,' a highlight of Holter’s 2013’s celebrated Loud City Song was originally a hit for Barbara Lewis a year later. Both tracks were recorded with producer Cole Marsden Greif-Neill in Los Angeles.
