Dirty Projectors debuted their latest video today for “Offspring are Blank” on Pitchfork x Youtube. Directed by Dirty Projectors frontman David Longstreth, the video is part of the "HI CUSTODIAN" short film series and will feature additional videos for “The Socialites” and “Swing Lo Magellan” to be released on Thursday and Fridayrespectively, as well as the previously released “About to Die” video. The band is also happy to announce a special Los Angeles show on Feb. 5th at The Troubadour in Hollywood. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE. The band will also play a previously announced Carnegie Hall date on January 11th. To commemorate Dirty Projectors' prestigious performance, the band is pressing a special “Offspring Are Blank” white label 7" single backed with the brand new song “There's A Fire.” Only 250 hand-numbered copies of the 7” will be pressed and will be exclusively sold at the New York performance.

These special dates come as Dirty Projectors’ critically acclaimed Swing Lo Magellan continues to receive praise from across the critical spectrum, earning spots on year end lists from NPR, Spin, Rolling Stone, Time, Filter, Stereogum, and more.  Dirty Projectors frontman David Longstreth also received a Grammy nomination for “Best Recording Package” as the Art Director for the album. The package was designed in conjunction with long time collaborator Rob Carmichael at Seen Studio. Swing Lo Magellan is currently available for purchase on the Domino Records online store, including the last remaining copies of the DLX LP edition.
