ARCTIC MONKEYS UNVEIL 'BLACK TREACLE' VIDEO; ANNOUNCE MORE DATES WITH THE BLACK KEYS

Arctic Monkeys creative partnership with LA-based filmmakers Focus Creeps continues with the release of the “Black Treacle” video. “Black Treacle” - an instant fan favorite since the release of Suck It And See last year- is definitive Monkeys: verbose, witty and drenched in shimmering, languid guitars. The video, filmed in California last year, sees drummer Matt Helders reprising his role of devilish desert outlaw. The “Black Treacle” single will be released digitally on Jan 23^rd and on 7-inch vinyl on Feb 21^st. The single will be backed with the exclusive new track “You And I” by Richard Hawley and The Death Ramps, which was recorded and produced by Ross Orton.

 The band have also confirmed a second leg of the forthcoming arena tour with The Black Keys. After a brief sojourn following the Norfolk, VA date on March 23^rd, both bands will pick up again on April 24th in Houston, working their way west and up into Canada before wrapping up in Milwaukee on May 16^th. 2012 just got a lot more exciting.
